THE TOUR
Oaxaca City sits at the confluence of three valleys, one of them the oldest continually inhabited valley in North America. Here, one feels the pull of ancient civilizations.
This is a city of green cantera stone buildings, plazas, courtyards and numerous flowering trees. There is a large population of Miztec and Zapotec Indians wearing their traditional dress and speaking their native languages...

Experience the many archeological sites; including Monte Alban high above the city, and numerous craft villages (with weaving, rugs, pottery and wood carvings) all created in centuries old traditions.
Our charming hotel is located in the Colonial Center, which hosts fabulous museums, 27 churches, shops and many delightful restaurants where you can sample the moles. At night, the city is alive with music and dancing.
Although Oaxaca City suffered from social unrest in 2006, peace has again returned.
